Try this link,

http://www.hallmanboostcontroller.co...tions%20ld.pdf

Top port of wastegate - vent to atmosphere
Bottom port of wastegate - to bottom port of hallman
Front port of hallman - vacuum/boost source

He's saying to run your controller in-line. From the intake to the top port on the controller, then from the lower port to the LOWER wastegate refrence and leave the TOP wastegate refrence open to atmosphere.

With the boost on the lower port with the BC isn't that going to cause the wastegate to open easier as I see more boost? Maybe I'm thinking of this wrong?

EXACTLY! I was trying to explain why the boost would be going down as the **** was turned clockwise but it came out as a bunch of babbling.

Thats correct, I dont know the reasoning behind it, but the way hallman has it shown is that you stuff a big spring in gate and dial it down with the manual controller.

So as I turn it clockwise this will decrease boost?

I really wish I could get the right spring in the wastegate to run 20-22 psi and throw the mbc away!

Nope, it will raise it when turning clockwise.

Just to pull random numbers out of the air, lets say your spring alone will give you 25psi. When you add the boost controller fully counterclockwise, you are adding all of the boost seen in the intake to that bottom port which will have the gate opening at lets say 15psi. When you turn the hallman clockwise it lets less and less pressure though, as the boost on the bottom port lowers because of the hallman, your boost will raise.

Well that makes sense! Thanks! So you have any clue what I should stuff in the wastegate for a spring?
