The boost controller needs to be hooked up in between your vac/boost source from the intake manifold and your wastegate.

The fitting on the bottom of the controller that sticks out perpendicular should go to the wastegate and the other fitting should go to your boost source. The way it works is when it is open all the way it works just like normal and all the boost goes to the wastegate making it open at the spring boost pressure. When you turn it clockwise it tightens down and restricts some of the boost source and therefore it takes more boost to open the wastegate so your motor will see more boost.

Speed density and 3 bar ZR1 map sensor. The way my tuner talks, I think I can only do 21psi with factory operating system.

First of all JGS wastegates are horrible. I am on my 2 JGS gate. The first gate melted all the internals and I lost all boost and a huge vacuum leak. Please buy a Tial gate and request whatever spring you would like. It is worth the 245 dollars for the Tial. You can buy the flange style or band style.

Yea IDK what was wrong with yours but im pretty sure almost every KB kit comes with a JGS gate. Im sure some of Trick's kits do as well. This is the first IVE heard of JGS having issues.

The older style JGS gates came with a membrane bladder style diaphragm. The new one that I got now is all metal design. Works well but the springs that come will the JGS gate are crap. The Tial F38 gate comes with a million different choices in springs. Best gate IMHO.
