People always telling me the crossover wg isn't the right spot to put the wg, but you are not the first person to putt the wg on the manifold just like that and then not have it work...

I can count on one hand, the number of problems I've have with crossover wg's out of 100's and it's almost always been to small of a gate to begin with.

Nothing wrong with the gate in the cross over.
We where the first to use that location years ago. Just like Kyle said many say it does not work there but it does. There are probably 1000's of kits with gate in the crossover.

Now to your location nothing wrong there we have 100's of t6 kits with a gate in that location.

Something sounds wrong with hose plumbing or the gate itself. Or not a real 44 gate.
How is your gates vacuum lines routed? All ports?
Is there a boost controller?
Is the gate venting back into the exhaust or to atmosphere?

A good boost controller will really help with the spool issue vs just going off spring only. I like the eboost stuff myself.

I do not have a boost controller. I did look at the eboost2 but more money then my sloppy build can have right now. Trickturbo it's for sure a tial 44mm. Lines go to the same place my boost sensor, and wastegate is plumbed, they both work. All ports minus water ports plugged. Dumps into the air. Anyone have more pictures of the crossover gate setup. Thanks guys. Big bummer it's not a working truck

If you look next to firewall on motor, drivers side you can see my brass sensor. The hose coming out of there going to top of intake is where its getting it

So you have both ports going to a boost location.
Or they are plugged?

The problem is with that big turbine T6 turbo and I'm betting you have a real free flowing exhaust too, there is too much velocity and not enough back pressure for the exhaust to want to make the turn and go around the turbo through the WG. I've seen this a few time. The turbine just has too much power and just keeps spinning the compressor wheel faster.

A down and dirty way to fix it, is to just put some restriction in the downpipe/exhaust to get the back pressure in the whole system up. That will get the waste gate to flow more of the exhaust around the turbine, slowing it down.

I've had an issue like this before and had the customer put a 1/2" restrictor in his downpipe and all of a sudden he could control boost just fine. He eventually put a bigger wastegate on it which fixed the over boosting problem.

Wondering about those vacuum lines.
Had customers in the past connect them wrong or not at all.
Even leaving a plug out of the bottom on a pt gate.

20psi is a huge over shot
