Wasnt planning on making the truck fast.

Got a call the other day that a guy had pulled his turbo kit to go twin turbo and was selling his hot pipes cheap. Stopped by and looked, seemed everything was there. So I pulled the trigger and bought this. The wastegate flanges have been cut off, but a friend said thats normal because they come with a new one.

I'm not sure what else I need, was thinking I would just go like 6PSI or so since truck is a daily driver. I've already got a Walbro 255 I was going to put in the truck.
I know enough about turbos to break stuff. Want to keep it cheapish, but reliable.

Who makes that kit? Is it a custom job?
Obviously you need a turbo, you should find out what turbo the kit was built to fit. I'm guessing it's a T4 flange, but you should check. Also measure the downpipe v-band flange. This will give you most of the info, but the turbo size can still vary. If you get the turbo size size wrong then the downpipe might not route correctly, as in it could hit the firewall and/or not line up with the wastegate.
You will need cold piping obviously, injectors, turbo oil feed and drain fittings, wastegate that fits those pipes, BOV, spark plugs, boost controller and gauge, etc. And if it's a DD then you will want to rethink that exhaust.

Yeah, it has T4 flanges and uses flipped manifolds. Kit came off a 06 model and mines an 05. Truck can be loud at first, they aren't real strict around here on that kind of stuff. If its too loud I can always add a muffler to that pipe.
I really don't know how big the turbo and the WG need to be, I know the turbo should be smaller so it spools faster for street driving, but have no idea on the WG. Should a Walbro 255 be big enough?

What I was trying to say is that the kit was built to fit a specific size turbo and wastegate. So if you don't get the correct size then the hot pipes won't line up.
If you are comfortable modding the hot pipes then it doesn't matter.
