Default w2a intercooler question

my A2A intercooler is wore out and the mount is ripping free from the body. that being said its time for an upgrade. i want to go W2A this time and i have a few questions. well just one for now. i have an old STS oil return pump in my garage and i was wondering if i could use that for the water pump. maybe if i use antifreeze to help keep it lubed?

Just buy a bosch pump, they are easy to find and go for 80-90 on ebay all day. I highly doubt the STS pump is made for 3/4 hose. The bosch pumps were used on pretty much all the ford and GM vehicles that are supercharged with A2W intercoolers.

it would be nice if it would work because it would be one less part to buy.
