Default Vortech, Procharger or Magnacharger?

I've given up the hope of buying an SRT8 since they're over pricing them where I'm at, even if I imported one it would cost me the same price as buying one out of a dealership here, so I'm looking to get a supercharger instead...

Now I have an '08 5.3 Yukon with mods in the sig @ 313hp and 328tq...

I'm looking for a daily driver and a plug and play full supercharger kit... I might be upgrading to a 6.0 in the future maybe boring that out to a 6.2, so I'm worried the Maggie won't fair well on the upgrade since port sizes etc might change due to new heads.. as of yet I've got the 799 castings...

I want to be at around thr 450rwhp mark on a safe tune at stock PSI... if i get greedy maybe change the pulley out to get around 500HP?

I'm looking for the Yukon to hold it's own weight... I got raped last night by a Lightning and I wanna go back and rape him! lol

Any heads up from ppl who've experienced any of the above please let me know.. I'm looking to get one within the next couple of weeks.....

Thanks for your time

Bader

Procharger will get you 500+ PSI, the Magna Charger will only get about around 499.99.

you are going to be hard pressed to make 500 RWHP with any FI option without a cam and some exhaust work.

I've looked at this kit, but it states it's only for the 6.0 and 6.2 because of the port sizes... they have the 112 kit listed for the 07-08 5.3s.... I will buy a bigger engine in the future, that is if I don't upgrade to a new denali....so I'd want the supercharger to swap over to the new motor... this is why I was thinking more vortech or procharger...

The TVS will work on the cathedral or L92 heads.

I've got Pacesetter LTs in place already... just need to fab up a custom exhaust to free up the flow...

my new cam should be coming over to me soon, 220/220 .562/.562...918s already installed with 42lb injectors...

Radix for sure....

Procharger and vortech are better matched for light weight hi revving engines imo. You need off idle torque!
