Pass cover connected to a Tee with one side going to the valley cover where I drilled a taped a 3/8" fitting and the other side going to the driver side to another Tee which goes to a vented catch can.

Bigger issue is if you are having a lot of blow by you may want to consider how the rings and pistons look...

I kind of assumed that he was forcing air in through the valve cover vent... his bottom end has very little miles on it so I would think they're good.

Valve cover breathers. A couple buddies with high horsepower boosted high dollar 370 -390- 408 that just vent to atmosphere. No problems to my knowledge I did it to my wife N/A z28. No problems just gets dirty a little faster just change it sooner

Oh, well if he is pressurizing the crankcase by way of the factory PCV system that is his fault

plumbing to a catch can with a filter (atmosphere) but plumbing a line to the intake will get rid of most of the smell.

I hate it too. took me a while to figure that out lol

nope i have a non vented catch can so i should probably buy a one way check valve

i can but i Hurd its gonna smell like oil since its just vented to the atmosphere

Filers are on a catch work great. You can always add a line from the catch can before the TB (or turbo inlet) to pull a little vacuum at idle to suck the catch can smell.

here's a few photos of my setup

looks like a really nice setup

Stock routing works fine if you do it right. Attach the fresh air breather in front of the blower after the air filter. Attach the driver side valve cover to the intake manifold with a one way check valve so you don't boost your crankcase. If you are pulling oil vapors then put a catch can between the drivers side valve cover and the intake manifold. For anyone that has breathers attached to the valve cover and is pulling vac from the intake to anywhere on the motor then you are pulling un metered air and if you are MAF tuned then you may have some idle issues.

Putting a bit of vacuum on your bottom end is a good thing.

I use the stock PCV system with a check valve and catch can inline. The check valve prevents the boost in the intake from going through the PCV lines into the crankcase.

And then I run a single 3/8" line from the passenger side valve cover to the turbo inlet pipe.

I was worried that the single 3/8" line wouldn't be enough to vent the crankcase while in boost, but it seems to be working fine. I've never pushed out the dipstick. I may upsize the line anyways and plumb it from the oil filler cap to the turbo inlet.
