i know its been asked before but i'm asking again lol.
how do you know if you are getting valve float? when i was racing the mustang it seemed like it took forever to get from 5600ish to 6000rpm where it shifted. soon as it shifted it felt like i hit a small shot or something just started pulling way harder again. was this probably valve float? i had no KR and fuel was good at that point. if it was valve float could i get by with just lowering the shift point for now. as i don't have money at the moment for springs. i didn't feel it in first but first goes by so fast it would be hard to tell anyway.

You tend to get rich, when approching valve float. I would lower the **** points down to 5500RPM. Turbos don't need big RPM to make power. My truck runs alot better shifting at 5200RPM than it did at 6000RPM. How much boost are you running?

just thought it was funny
i'm running 10psi. you shift at 5200?
