When I ported for my bbk 80 the truck gain almost a pound in the same conditions.When I get my 90 I will keep you posted.I don't know why he wouldn't benefit from the change.It should work but I can't promise that cause I have never messed with a whipple on an 8.1.Its cheaper then the alternative he's looking at.I know Brians not going to recommend a stock throttlebody on the tvs2300.Its worth a try and if it dont work what's he out a throttlebody he got to purchase anyway.

I have a lot of time in it....but i have enjoyed every minute of it (almost every minute.....LOL). I dont mind putting the time in.....i like working on it more than driving it sometimes.

before changing the blower. You would never know if the new blower fixed your problem, or eliminating the Whippletube, or a faulty bypass, or whatever, was what actually fixed it.
