I wish somebody could definitively and quantitatively answer this.

When I ported for my bbk 80 the truck gain almost a pound in the same conditions. When I get my 90 I will keep you posted.I don't know why he wouldn't benefit from the change. It should work but I can't promise that cause I have never messed with a whipple on an 8.1.Its cheaper then the alternative he's looking at.I know Brians not going to recommend a stock throttlebody on the tvs2300.Its worth a try and if it dont work what's he out a throttlebody he got to purchase anyway.

We tried to get W'ped496 to run it with all of that crap removed from the throttle to make sure it wasn't a restriction, but he only gave it a half-hearted attempt. Something about not wanting the engine to ingest the hood liner.

LOL...dick. This is what i tried and it made no difference at all. It reduced more than 60% of my intake and made no difference.

The throttle body I will need to purchase is the LS2 4 bolt throttle body which does not bolt up to the Whipple with out some sort of adapter that im not sure they even make. I will need to get a 90mm TB, i just dont think i will be able to try it on my Whipple setup.

I have a lot of time in it....but i have enjoyed every minute of it (almost every minute.....LOL). I dont mind putting the time in.....i like working on it more than driving it sometimes.

That Whippletube was what I'm talking about. I would try it with just the bare throttle to absolutely be sure.

We're all just looking out for you, believe it or don't. I sure would exhaust all of the possibilities
before changing the blower. You would never know if the new blower fixed your problem, or eliminating the Whippletube, or a faulty bypass, or whatever, was what actually fixed it.

id love to see it be a hell of alot more easier to work on since you wont have a side mount plus it would be just plan badass to have a tvs 2300 on a 8.1
