Agreed, on someone else's coin.

Spoolin, I thought Duttweiller used a 408 not a LSX 427 on a article in 1 of the rags, HRM or CC. Or was there another that made 900+ w/. a 2300?
Maybe 2 different builds, but I also thought it was a 1900. Correct me when ya confirm.
No, no inside info, well, maybe a few tricks, but nothing more then I have already reported. I was told he made 960fwhp on less then 14lbs of boost; forget the details.

I think the 1000hp number will be made with a 2300 soon Hasn't been done yet to my knowledge.

*** it, lets start one now....

If I had a 434ci pushing 20+ psi of boost, it had damn well better be making MORE than 1K RWHP... STUPID ***, BOILING HOT AIR BLOWERS!! And you guys are seeing close to 900 at the flywheel.... So around 800 at the wheels??? seams about the proven limit. Why would ANYONE even want one of those???? SO, you dumped all the money into 434 and all the junk to make it work and not clear 1,000 rwhp??? Right, no lag.... LAME
Thanks for reminding me why I hate the internet. Idiot.

No, it was an LSX 427 with a TVS2300 on it. This was back when Dave was building his motor so...2009 maybe? Now that I think about it I think Brian was there that day as well. He might know more about that particular motor that I do. It was a pretty badass motor. I've only been to his shop maybe a half dozen times and each time he's got something on his engine dyno that is absolutley awesome. That particular time is was a 2300 on an LSX motor. He said it was making just north or 900 on pump gas at ~14 psi or something. He said he could make it break 1000hp but he didn't think it'd be worth it. I didn't ask him to elaborate but from listening to him talk about how much low end torque that that particular motor was putting down, I figured he was relctant to give up some of that low-end power in order to attain an arbitrary number like 1000hp.

I have a picture of that motor on my computer at home, this thread will probably be dead by the time I get home, but if it isn't I'll post it up.

Like Grippy said though, it will happen if it hasn't already happened elsewhere.

Plus doesn't Leftcoast Joe make an *** load of power with his blower?
That is me!

I was making right at 800awtq at 3200 rpm when the little 70 would not hold on any more. I'm now 2wd and 4l85e(Same as Flaco).

Flame me if you like! I'm shooting for 1000rwhp! Might take a bit of spray but we will see!

I'm assuming those are SAE corrected numbers since your in Denver (5200') Do you happen to know what the actual numbers were? Just curious?
