What do you all think this blower is capable of? Can it make 1000fwhp on boost alone?

I dont think so, havent seen any builds make much over 800rwhp without nitrous on regular pump gas.

I think virginia speed might be at the fore-front using these blowers...dont think they have hit the 1k mark on pump gas though

I was hoping to do 700 rwhp on E85 and 18psi. Just got it running and doing some tuning. Maybe not??? With a 20% lost through the powertrain that would be really close to 900 at the flywheel??? With a jackshaft blower that would make more boost than I so wouldn't that be pretty close? Maybe I'm dreaming too............

700rwhp from a blower would be ******* nuts though.

Like I said I could be dreaming. We will see though in a month or so. I just drove it last night for the first since November. Tuning is off so only went to 40% throttle when logging.

This would be a good time to get into the whole roots vs. screw argument. At high boost levels, screw compressors really shine and roots start to fall off in terms of efficiency very quickly. You can cheat a little bit with a roots and tweak the rotor shapes to be near that of a screw, like was done with the TVS, but it is still a roots at heart.

Why would you suggest we get into an argument??
