id wait a while on the gears...

do some stainless works headers and nice cat back. i couldnt find one that didnt drone so i have headers high flow cats and stock muffler.

headers wiht the magnaflow 3 inch in/out 5x11x28 muffler will flow perfect and wont be loud. My buddys h2 has headers with no cats and 3 inch the y pipe back and with that muffler there is no drone and its 3 inch str8 thru.

yes, I believe it is 1700 or something like that. Even at 70 I am below that. My H2 has 6 gears

Ok then i would wait on gears, that is a pretty good amount with a 6l80e. The new six speeds are nice because you can have a real low 1st and really high 6th. gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to gearing

I have the corsa Touring and just installed ARH headers w/ hiflow cats. It's a little louder at idle, very quiet at cruise and at WOT it's loud. Very happy with the setup.
