The spring had it making too much psi for what I wanted. I took it apart and found the diaphram to be torn. I didn't have the correct springs so I just bought local and put the 8 psi spring in it.

While I was there I went ahead and swap turbos as well. Couldn't pass up the deal I got on the 76. It's not a precision 76 just another mp cast jb. If I feel like I still want to change I'll sell both of the snails and get what I want. But I'm going to give this a shot first and ill install a cam next before any turbos get changed out again.

It's not exactly the order I wanted to mod but I kinda had to change some stuff up on the fly.

Good luck man. Will that 76 bolt right up in place of the 70?

Yes. The swap maybe took 20mins from pulling truck in to pulling it out.

Well guys, I couldn't be happier with the truck. I can't wait to get a cam and stall in andet her rip again. Guna try to make it on a dyno in the coming weeks to get a baseline at the 10-11 psi I'm running now. Tuner said he could get more out of it but I told him I wanted safe and that's what I got.

All I need to do now is sell my other turbo and start getting my parts together for a cam swap. Then I can get a stall in it and relly wake it up.

Any other questions just ask and I'll be happy to answer them.

93 pump
Just a stock eng/trans with a trick kit and 76mm jb turbo .81 exh a/r full spool at 3100 rpms according to data logs. 8psi spring. Gauge showing 10-11psi at wot.

Do not have before numbers. Looking to get on a dyno in a couple weeks with turbo kit. I assume it was putting down what a reg stock 5.3l does from the factory. Did not have time to get to a dyno and back before installation.

Will do. Trying to get a few veh's to all go at the same time to save everyone a little cash. A couple pulls each for 75 bucks isn't really worth the trip. It's a decent drive to lake Charles from beaumont lol
