Default Turbo trucks with airbags??

I am considering buying a 2000 silverado that has airbags on it. So my question is Is there any downside to putting a turbo on a truck with airbags. I'm. Hearing from some people that it isn't a good idea to do so.

I have never heard of that. You worried about vibration or acceleration setting them off? It takes a LOT of set off an airbag.

You just need to be aware of your crossover pipe and wastegate placement if your going to run kb/trick kits, especially if your going to drag frame on your truck.

You also need to be aware of your driveshaft, carrier bearing (if equipped 2pcs driveshaft), and pinion angles when driving fast.

Th scare is the harmonics of an air bag. Shocks dampen the movement so there is no issue.

I have air bags but haven't went very fast yet. 1.8 60 ft but didn't have any problems.

Is racing from a start the biggest concern?
