Heads will bolt right up, make sure you order 5.3 head gasket though, As far as a turbo app you're probably going to want to get a cam, set of comp 918 valve springs and some one peice comp push rods. your stock rockers are roller and will work just fine. Good luck!!!!

He's gonna want 6.0L gaskets. The combustion chambers in the 317 heads are larger, and you don't want gaskets that are smaller. A good set of springs is a must, along with some hardened pushrods. I personally would go with something other than the 918 springs, but that's just me. Stock rockers generally do pretty well, so don't worry about that.

i got a set of PRC gold springs for my 317. there good for a 660 lift. better to get the best than to drop a valve.

They don't make the 918's any more. With all the trouble they had with that spring, they "retired" the number. They make one with the same attributes that supposedly doesn't break. Different # though.

I think you might have to deshroud the valves using 6.0 heads on a 5.3 too IIRC.

they still make the 918, but they had a big recall so they are on backorder with the updated ones. the company that originally made the springs for Comp is making them again for themselves. but things being the way they are, you might wanna find another route depending on what cam you use. get the 6.0l gaskets, the heads have a 71cc vs 61cc chamber. your gonna love the drop in compression once you turn up the boost. rocker arms will be OK. what you wanna change is the pushrods, stock one suck from what i heard. just good insurance.
