Default Radix Fuel Pump?

Hey guys, im wondering if anyone knows if there is a check valve in the fuel pump, tank, or line somewhere. Im having a starting problem since I put the radix on. When i try to start the truck it wont crank over on the first time. Its like there is no fuel in the line. If I turn the key on for a second then start it there is no problem. Its starving for fuel somewhere and I cant figure out why.

wait the second, let your pressure build, then crank.

Mine is kinda doing the same thing. Only it is worse on cool mornings. If I don't wait, it starts, but stumbles for a second or two. I am gonna ask my tunner if that is fixable tune wise, as it seemed to start once SD tuning was done.

There is a check valve in the outlet of the pump. Could cause a hard start if it was stuck open or missing. A leaking injector might also cause a loss of pressure in the line. Does the fuel pressure hold if you just turn the key to the run position or does it drop off quickly after peaking?

When I turn the key to the run possition but dont actually start the truck it holds right at 60/61psi.

Doesn't sound like a fuel supply issue then. My pressure drops off quicly due to the regulator in my custom setup. So I usually turn the key on and off a couple of times to fill the fuel line/rails prior to cranking.

I take back my previous statement. I just went to lunch and checked out what the gauge is doing. When i turn the key to run it spikes up to 60psi right away. If i leave it in run but dont start it, it will drop all the way back down to zero.

yours is certainly tunable. SD brings those type of issues out. That's my opinion.

what year are you? that doesn't sound good. mine spikes on the initial on, then settles to maybe 53-55. If you are pre-04 check your fpr.
