Default turbo & towing

2000 rcsb, 4l80, 76mm, good intercooler.

would it be ok to tow a 2500lb race car on a trailer or bad idea? I'm thinking with headers wrapped and maybe removing inner fender wells to let heat out?

only around 10-12psi

any of u turbo guys tow? not alot, just here and there

WHo tuned your truck?

Ive towed well over 2500# with my turbo truck. Prolly wouldnt hurt to take your passenger side inner fender out but if your tune is good then you wont have any problems.

Several guys on this site tow regularly with their turbo trucks. You should be fine just keep an eye on your temps and don't get too crazy.

I haven't towed much with mine yet but I wouldn't be afraid to, like stated its all in the tuning, as long as your part throddle boost af/timing is at a safe spot you should be good to go. Just try and stay out of boost for a long time at once, just to much heat will build up.

You might put in a 6lb spring for towing.
