I was just wondering, couldn't you just buy a turbo kit ment for a f-body and just have the downpipe fabed up to work with a truck exhaust. I am torn between upgrading to a F1R or going turbo. I want to stick with a procharger cause not many people have one, but a twin turbo system would be a lot easier to deal with, no belt and all.

For the most part a turbo kit is more complicated then a supercharger. But, yes you could modify some of the F-body kits to fit. Some of them even use truck manifolds mounted backwards and and upside down. But whats the point. You can buy a Livernoise kit for the same cost as an F-body kit and you dont have to spend $1,000.oo modifying it

Love my Livernois system, it kicks major Mustang A$$...
only thing i changed was relocation of the MAF to the boosted side, simple to do and worth it!
