Turbo or Super on a 2008 6.0L

yeah Blown Chevy.. you need to make your kits easier to install!!!
your full instructions and 'every part you need' is not enough! they need to have the self install option where you hit the install button and just let it work.. when finished just reboot for performance to take effect

This guys IS NOT a racer or anything. He is just looking for some extra power. I was going to go with the Maggie but wanted something a little easier to install. He was originally going to get the Maggie but he called me right before I ordered it asking about the STS kit and then yesturday he went ahead and just ordered the STS kit.
If it was MY truck I would have went with the Radix. But this guy wanted the STS so that's what I got for him.

You need to maintain the "beat it to fit, paint it to match" attitude with the STS during install.....I guess if you are a plumber by trade it might be easier.

If you did I would have to disagree, as will most here on this site. I have said it a million times, yes the STS kit adds power, yes your vehicle will haul *** with it. And if you read even further back in the thread I stated that there were other turbo options that may have been a better choice for him (leaving the magna charger out of it). I only responded to his comment that the STS was easier to install than a Magna Charger, and I find that hard to believe.

My kit did come with everything I needed yes, but the original install took a little longer because of inexperience. (Not talking about REBS here either)
On the install thing...everything is easy to do if done enough times times. You've installed I'm guessing a few thousand if not more maggie's in your younger slimmer days days
so you could probably do them with your eyes closed. Same with an STS guy who's installed his fair share of remote mounted Turbo's, but give him a maggie and it will take him a little longer.
From what I've learned in the last few years, to get "Out-of-the-Box" and reliable power a Maggie wins hands down over any kit out there. IMHO this customer seemed to be choosing between a maggie and a turbo set-up a little too flippantly and don't think he's really thought his set-up through very well or figured out his goals. You just don't flip a coin between a turbo or S/C both very different in power delivery and in application.
I do love you Brian! Actually was hoping to see you today with Big D but guess it'll be tomorrow!
