Man, I keep hearing what a pos my trt/sts kit is and I just don't get it. I was running mid 7's and getting 21-22 mpg on 20's, full weight, no nitrous, mods in sig. on a less than desirable track. IMHO my turbo rocks. Haven't even raced in 15 years. Of course I did kill my motor; I just wasn't paying attention when I dogged the **** out of it on a 44 deg night...it was tuned when it was about 85 deg. I had been seeing 8lbs and 9 down the track in warmer weather. I am thinking it was probably my inattention and maybe a few beers that did it. I was spinning all 4 for 30 ft. on good traction concrete that night after the track on a low traffic street with approx 380 lbs of passengers. Did it at least 3times. I was just having some fun that night. My truck goes to the shop tomorrow to get the forged motor with patriots. I am going to dial back the converter a bit cause 40 more cubes. We'll see what this pos does next soon. Who knows, if it's really as bad as some of my fellow members say it is, I'll just do a Trick or a TVS next year. One things for sure, I'm not bored yet! BTW, I just love this site, always plenty of input from some really great guys that have been there before. Still learning in Texas.

Oh man......Um.....Congratulations......Ummmm, wow. You said this guy is your customer? Having been a dealer for and sold (or rather, tried to give away) STS kits, I can tell you.....You would have been WAY ahead of the game going with Trick, KB, Synergy, or even ProCharger before you sold a customer an STS.
Good luck, and keep us posted.

If it was MY truck I would have went with the Radix. But this guy wanted the STS so that's what I got for him.

I don't think the STS is easier to install than the Radix, quite the opposite from my limited inspection of the sts system. The Radix bolts right on, no oil feed/return no nada, everything completely bolts up. Not sure how much easier it can get than that
Well all this is really water under the bridge now as the choice is made. I have seen STS kits make some incredible power and satisfy customers just the same.
