I'm done with this thread because every single bit of our help has apparently gone in one ear and out the other. I'm not sure why I keep posting in your thread. Maybe because it has potential to be a useful thread if you would actually take people's advice.

That is a $300 turbo. It's a piece of Chinese crap. We have already given you some great ideas about a turbo. Several people keep saying you can get a Master Power T70 for $600. That is about the cheapest good turbo you can find without buying used.

If you want to build a shitty system, then get the $300 turbo. Add that in with a log style manifold, hot parts, intercooler setup, 60 lbs injectors, blow off valve, wastegate, oil lines, and tuning and your build comes out to $4000 instead of $4300 and you have a nice setup with a shitty turbo.

I can't help people that don't want help. You can keep posting links to turbos all day, but bottom line is that unless it's made by a reputable brand like Garrett, Precision, Turbonetics, Master Power, etc it's almost for sure going to be cheap crap.

If you have more questions about turbos, find one you like and search for it on the forum. There are plenty of guys running the T60 garrett turbo, master power t70, Turbonetics T-62, etc. There is plenty of information on exhaust housing size and turbo specs.

If you have a technical question then I'm sure many people(including myself) would be more than happy to answer it, but if you keep posting links to turbos asking if they will work, no one is going to benefit at all from this discussion.

I can sell you a hot parts kit (header, crossover, and down pipe) with that turbo for $2100 shipped. Then all you need is an intercooler, cold side piping. misc oil lines and fittings, fuel system, tune ect...
You had your answer by post 5.

The bottom line to this is, as posted a million times....you cannot build a quality turbo setup if you are going to penny pinch every part, there are people on here giving you advice who have built countless turbo setups for themselves, and others. There are not too many people on here who like to just throw money away, if you could build it cheaper, people would do it and tell others. Good luck, but just understand that this is an expensive hobby and you will have more problems, and regrets, and money into a setup if you try and cheap out on stuff then if you pony up and get stuff that fits and will last. KBracing96 sells a perfect kit for you, its low priced, pretty complete, and as guys on here using it will atest, works great.

wel let me start off by saying that im sorry if i offended anybody on here by asking so many questions. i know that these guys have built countless setups but i was just curious. i understand that i dont know half or what yall will forget one day but im trin to learn it. its not that your information has went in one ear and out the other, its i read all that you say and try to take it and put it to work, but then everybody around here comes out with the 'theory' and everything. but i understand hands on experience is leaps and bounds over theory.

randomhero- i dont want you to abandon my thread, i understand that your experienced and i appreciate all the information and time that you have put into it. now that i have my head out of my butt, il be listenin to you alot more.

i know i cant penny pinch a kit together, you get what you pay for. but im not exactly lookin to just drop the cash into it all at one time. i have to step my way to havin everything.

texaspainter- thats 2 post that i have got nothing from. atleast i have information to go back and read from the other guys that are helpful.

sorry if i pissd anybody off for not listenin to what you had to say. il say strike one....but im not out yet.

That turbo is entirely too small for a 5.3. It may be called a "T70" but it is not the same as what I sell. It is a little 54mm compressor and small t3 turbine. The Master Power T70 is a 70mm compressor and a larger T4 turbine. You would need 2 of those ebay turbos to support enough air flow for a 5.3, and another 2 as spares to replace the first 2 as they die. If you do a little research on them, you will find these eBay turbos, are notoriously poor quality and have very poor bearings and balancing. There are known for failing sometime just after being installed. This is one of those things, where you get what you pay for. I hope that this info is help full to you.

Just a FYI for ya, what I sell and recommend is the most economical parts and kit of quality parts i can put together for you guys. The only way you could do it any cheaper is if you have the ability to do the fab work your self or find the parts used.

Master Power turbos are THE most economical turbo's I have found for a quality turbo, and I have looked at a lot of them. Ebay no name turbos, just are not worth it. Let me know if you have any questions about any of it and I'll be happy to try to answer them.
