turbo size

I see the sts kits have a GT67 turbo but I can't find that turbo on Garrett's website. The changed the nameing so I don't know which of the new names it is. I am looking for the right size for a single turbo 383 sb chevy. If anyone knows the correct size I would appreciate it.

The GT67 is a hybrid AFAIK. It uses a T4 P-trim turbine with a .81 or .96 AR and maybe larger 1.15 AR combined with a 67mm compressor housing with the new GT wheels installed. It is not to be found on Garrett's site and calling it a GT is just confusing to everyone. Well almost everyone....LOL.
You may find the 67mm a little small for your application and want to look at a 70mm or 76mm compressor depending on your goals.
Someone with experience with these larger compressors should be by to help you out with more information.

ok that would explain my confusion. Thank you for clearing that up. does anyone know the size i should look for for a 383. I want it to be very streetable and not have to wind it to the sky to get full boost

You can call Garrett dealers that list their number on the Garrett website. They will ask all of the engine specifics that you have and can give you their advise on which turbo to use. I would also call Turbonetics and Precision to get some feedback.

What is your HP goal and where do you want the power band? What is this motor going in? Is it a front mount or rear? Intercooled or Meth or both or neither

I am planning on doing a rear mount but it is going in a 69 camaro not a truck. Most likely intercooled only but meth could be added later. I was thinking hp around 600 if possible. It is going to be a street car so I don't want it to radical.

I'd say that a GT 67 or 70 with a .81 A/R Exhaust housing would work well with that setup. I was going to do a similar setup on a 69 Camaro with a 406 sbc for a buddy, was going to use a Master Power T70 with a .81 AR exhaust, but my buddy's kid rolled the car, before I got a chance to build it.
