I may tow a small camper trailer from time to time. I pretty much offroad every second weekend. Ill take as much hp that the stock bottom end'll take,
but I could always keep the boost down and when I do stroke it then i'll crank it up. I'm also looking at tranny options right now. I aint got the cash to lay down 5000g's on a kit so I was plannin on buying something of ebay and building from there.

Buying an ebay kit will end up costing you 5000 in the long run.

Is the filter location of the STS kit going to be a problem with your off roading? and a front mount might get too hot while towing. Are you dead set on a turbo?
I wouldn't buy to much off e-bay, Unless they have customer support. lol

Yeah some of the holes we go in kinda swallow the truck so I do need a front mount. Why will the front mount suck? diesels use em. Well a turbo will be the cheapest way to go, I already have a supercharger thats leaking at the seals with only 20 mins running with it. Paxton wanys $450us to rebuild it, so its not worth it for me to fix it if it ain't gonna give me the power I want.

diesel exhaust temps are WAY WAY lowwer than gas engine temps. Not aying you can't tow with front mounts, you just have to be carfully of wire and hose routing, also watch for cracking manifolds...
