any place in a straight piece. if you check post #27 in my build thread, mine is 4 inches from the TB. you do need your BOV about 2 feet from your MAF if you plan to get it tuned that way. but i would suggest an SD tune.

What other way would i tune it? planned on doing the TB from that first pic i posted about half way in the pipe running horizontal and then doing the BOV on the down pipe from that.

Who is goin to tune it?
No intercooler in central Texas is goin to be brutal. I drove mine for one day with the old rear mount setup and IATs were rediclous.

Putting the MAF the way it was in you picture will be fine, and you really dont need a BOV for low boost. I ran without one for years.

What year truck are you working with?

What about fuel pump and injectors?

I honestly wouldnt waste much money on the 4L60E. Especially if you have bigger plans for the truck.
Go ahead and save up for a 4L80E and a shift kit. That way you can really run it hard.

Apparently having the MAF right after a bend (like KB does it) isn't a problem if the MAF gets dialed in. My BOV is about 8" before my MAF, and the MAF is about 10" before the TB.

I didnt think i would need a fuel pump with low boost like that, maybe some 60# if I really want to get any injectors. Its an 08 5.3 CCSB, and it already has a BBP tune was just gonna send him my specs and get him to send me another tune after the build.

Whats a good waste gate for around a 100?

And is it safe to run no BOV for max like 6psi?

if you are flex fuel you should be fine on fuel pump. i would not recommend a mail order tune for boost.

you need a BOV....
