Check ebay. i've seen piping kits on there for less than $100, for the intake anyway.

yeah iv seen them too but i was wanting to keep down on the cuplers, if i could just use exhaust piping i could bend it all and just have like 4-5 cuplers. but if not ebay is the way this project will go, and about 15 cuplers

STS uses mild steel. You'll get different opinions on piping. I think mild steel with HPC coating is the way to go vs. plain aluminum. I have been fabbing a custom fmic on my setup. I ordered a bunch of straight pipes and a bunch of specific bends. I ended up with extra straight pipe that I'll sell. I have 3, maybe 4 3" x 24" long mild steel. Email me if you are interested. You'll mainly use bends though vs. the straight pipe.

the tubing kits on ebay came with more then enough to run mine, just needed 4 special connectors that the kit did not come with to make all of my hook up's.
waiting on the last two to show up and my set up will be done for now.

From what I've read, a lot of companies choose ceramic coated mild steel over stainless for turbo manifolds as it resists cracking when heat cycled better. As far as intake tubing, carbon steel is good because it's easy to bend and weld. I'd go with aluminum if cost wasn't much issue to save weight. Both can be powdercoated to keep from oxidizing. I've used 4" stainless steel exhaust tubing for the intake side of my supercharger as it's the perfect size and looks good without having to powdercoat.
