i have 2 t04e's going in over the wintertime and have been searching gathering photos and ideas from all over the net. but i wanted to be different and keep the fabrication time low.

my idea is running very similiar piping as kb racings and trick performance products (but for my 86 c-10 w/ 5.3) and where the turbo is mounted too, there i would have a -Y- and have 2 turbo's mounted on 1 side of the engine bay. very similiar to a twin remote mount but not remote.

i am not going for crazy hp or anything just want twin turbos for my truck and am looking for some different ways to do it.

i am looking to have my lq9 prepped intime to do all of this together but i have all to turbo parts except the waste gates and bov but thats just a call away when i get the space in the garage cleared.

 

Sounds like a nice project, but there is no low fabrication time when dealing with turbos.

 

good call but do you think it would be a good idea or would i be up for some issues like that? ...... i wish i knew your piping would fit on my truck or i would have already purchased it......my oil pan is already a shade lower then the crossmember......

to get the headers to work i had a big hammer to help then got the recoated..... headers were a 2001 silvy pacesetters.

 

FullthrottleDan did a twin setup with both turbos on the pass side, I tried to find some pics of it, but couldn't find any . You might PM him. I think he ended up going with a big single though.
