Default turbo issue

I have brand new forgen motor with around 1500 miles. Maybe I'm pushing it to soon. For the first time i pushed the dipstick out and it spayed oil all over the engin bay. I have passager side vavle to a catch can and the driver side with a filter. Maybe i need to put a filter on the oil cap as well. Any help would be good.

How many pounds were you running when it pushed? Mines pushed before, but didn't blow oil at around 12psi boost. I've since made a little tie down for it keeping it locked down. It's pretty normal in my experience to push a dip stick on a turbo engine.

when looked at the log file it was 141kpa so it should be around 7lb I think. I ran 10lb on 180k 5.3 and never had this happen. What your shift point with the ls6 cam? This wot second run with new motor and I don't think the cam likes to be spun to 6k.

My dyno graph was just starting to flatline the HP at 6300 when I got out of it, this was with a truck manifold also. Seems like your running low boost to be popping the stick, however sometimes those o-rings on the stick get soft and it don't take much to push them.

NO PVC with boosted setups. run a -10 from each valve cover to a breather catch can. no other ports going back to the intake or motor. cap everything off, if you still have issues after thsi motor is hurt.

Vacuume pump-it! Do a compressions test man, that's a lot of blow-by for only 7psi.

Try putting the breather on the oil fill cap, and run the ford pcv with a check valve in it to a catch can, and then to the intake. Remove the hose from the passenger side valve cover to tb and cap both off. The breather on the fill cap will give a source of fresh air under vacuum, and also allow crankcase fumes and pressure an escape route. The pcv with built in check valve is key, as it keeps you from boosting your crankcase and losing the dipstick at WOT. Ive done alot of reading about this lol

or do as pros do and run no pcv and run hoses off the valve covers and valley cover to vent motor. never have to worry about issues again and its cheaper
