Default Turbo help for my Vortec Max

You can read my current mods in my sig. Im in the market for a turbo. Looking for those more experienced with forced induction to chime in and steer me in the right direction. My goals are ultimately to make a 10 sec pass. I feel like the S480 would be a good fit for my truck and give me the power I need to move this crewcab down the 1/4 track in 10.9x secs. The specs I'm unsure of for my application is T4 or T6 flange and the AR. I know there are different variations of S480 and i'll need one that'll spool fairly quick since it's pretty big. I will change cams to a custom turbo cam but will look into that after I choose a turbo. I am open to slapping a set of 243s on since I can get them cheap and planned on studding my 317s anyway. I know that raises compression, but I have a really good tuner and I also plan on converting to E85, but not right off the bat. Thanks in advance

No need for a T6. Takes up a bunch of room.
T4 80/96 is more then enough to get these trucks into the 10's.

You don't need that much turbo.

the 75 with 83 or 87 turbine would get you 10.9 and be the most responsive on the street.

The 80/96 is laggy but pulls like a monster once it lights off.

So both will get me in the 10s, but the 75 will be more fun on the street.. I know I'm going to need close to 1,000hp to get there.. isn't that kind of maxing out the 75? which would mean that's not very efficient? in my mind I figured I could make the power I needed with the 80 to run a 10.xx without running the turbo wide open which I figured would be more efficient and sustainable.. and would still have opportunity for growth if I ever wanted to really tear into my engine and go forged and really push this thing to the limit.. but then again I don't know a lot about turbos and have 0 experience

Get ahold of brydman11.
See what he was running when he had the 80/83 or 80/92 I believe.

I don't think a 75/83 will get you into the 10's.
