Here are some snap shots of my progress on my boosted 5.3. Its taking me for ever to build this and im spending way more money than originally planned. The truck is bagged and lays frame, so ive had to custom build everything to fit. MP T76/68 .96AR turbo, custom grind comp cam, ported and polished 243 heads, comp trunion upgrade, holley high ram 102mm intake, 4" innercooler, dual 340 aeromotive pumps, 96# injectors, -10 fuel line .......

Since then ive traded Magnum for a bigger turbo (M477 76/78 1.15AR), Fabbed some coil covers, got a new Holley high ram 102mm intake, 4L80E trans (added shift kit and painted it), and a 5" drive shaft.

Do you have pics of your coil over setup? I'm going to fab up my own and am curious to what you used.

she's almost on the road finally. I have to get a new map sensor connect the turbo to the air box and paint the hood. Here is a short video of the progress.

 

Last summer the truck ran great after i got the tune sorted out but it was time for a transmission rebuild. The 4L80 that i used had a lot of miles on it and was basicly stock besides the HD2 shift kit. I rebuilt the trans myself using a Jake's Performance level 3 kit. I also had to add a Truecool 40k to keep the trans temps down.



Trans is in and working awesome. I also installed a Alkycontrol metyhanol injection kit so i can increase boost.
