Default Turbo guys, update

Well, I put a manual boost controller on today and a retune. Not done, but it's all I can do till business improves. Locked in 2nd, ran from 2k up to about 6200 and saw 15 to 17lbs to start and gradually fell back to about 9lbs. It had rained and I know my exhaust wrap was soaking wet. Just wondering, is it the 8 lb spring in the 38mm wastegate or something else. Maf is way overworked and we will change to a 100mm soon. Ideas? Truck is a helluva lot faster though. BTW, brake boosted to 15 lbs 3 separate times, no breakage. I think this is gonna be fun!

What type of boost controller did you use?

That's OK. I just ask because that may be the cause of your boost dropping off. Also, I wouldn't do the 100mm MAF. The restirction is minimal when you push through the stock MAF, and once you reach the hard limit in the PCM the 100mm can't buy you any more room in the pcm table. Speed density is your next move.

Kept blowing off the silicon coulping at the MAF. They figured that it was too restrictive. Also the tuner had to tune it SD but without the aid of a 2bar. It was alot of trial and error to get the afr in the right range.
