Bein that you are down in TX I would suguest it just cause of the heat down there. Also nice thing with running meth is that you can add more timing. I recently got meth injection on my truck that is running 11psi and I notice a tremendous difference. I am still learning about all this stuff. But I would suguest sometime in the near future getting a meth injection setup.
I'm running 60's with a single in tank Walbro.

I think you can manage 10-12 psi without the methanol by limiting timing. By limiting timing you are limiting power and you may make similar numbers at 8 psi with 18* as you would at 12 psi with 10*. There is an octane threshold that will ultimately limit your power.
Maybe I will at least talk to my builder about it. I just hate to complicate the truck with too many add-ons...however I do want to be safe.
I really appreciate everones input...very helpful.

If you stick with the 60s and limit your boost accordingly, the single walbro will be plenty and you won't need meth. Are you running a FMIC? I assume so given your boost level already.

I'd really recommend a meth kit for those days when you want to turn up the boost. You might not have enough pump to run 12psi on a 6.0L without meth -- you'll hit 550 easily.

Meth will chemically intercool your charge plus add fuel and octane. It's like magic... If you have a boost controller anyway, you can do a low boost dd setting and leave the meth off, then flip a switch, turn the meth on and go high boost for the honda at the light

Yes on the FMIC. That actually sounds like a great idea...maybe 10/14 lbs then with a boost controller and Meth?

I love my meth, I am maxed on my 42's @ 10-12 psi and the meth really helps. I can really notice the difference in power and A/F running strait meth. I don't mix it. screw the water!

What is your A/F showing when running straight meth. I just got my meth kit and been playin around with the mixtures. And the 42's are the car injectors, right?

I think 44s are Marine 8.1 and 42s are truck 8.1. I thought the cars were just 28s or something but I dont know.
