Default turbo guy, help.. questions on a 8.1L

So i have a few question i could use some help with.

1) does anyone have a wiring diagram of mass air to speed density...

Also it looks like mine has both, the mass air out of the air box, but then on the top of the manifold near the back there seems to bee a speed density sensor..

2) On the oil return what are you guys using.. The 8.1L have an aluminum plan, but you cant remove the pan to drill a return hole unless you pull the motor.. What i was thinking is removing the oil sensor and using that hole as a return. I know this will make my CHECK OIL light not work, but to be honest its always on anyway and my truck doesnt use any oil.. about half a quart ever 3500-4000k miles..

3) For the oil feed line, im open for suggestions. What im thinking is the oil filter relocator kit, then feed the turbo from that.. On the 8.1L that are 4wd you cant change the oil without spilling it all over the place and you cant refill the filter and get it back on the block... so the relocator will be nice

Tune will disable all MAF codes/issues. You'll probably have to run an oil return pump into your oil fill cap. The filter relocation kit is a good idea as long as it offers an additional 1/8 or 1/4npt port for turbo oil supply fitting

Damn phones, you can't use the low oil sensor port as you'll have issues with drainback from trying to push oil into a pool of pan oil

Damnit joey! Got to rain on my ideas lol

ok well for the feed the relocator kit worked fine. I'll have to do some figuring on the return

I'm still confused on this mass air deal. I have a new 2 bar sensor and pig tail to connect it to but the mass air wires are 5 and other are 3. I'm assuming one is for a intake temp sensor. Speaking of I know you don't half to have one but will it make it easier to tune and more drivable. I'm in the mountains. Summer 90-95*. Winter can get to 0*.

The Map sensor (manifold absolute pressure) is the 2 bar sensor you are referring to and it is on the intake manifold, should be a 3 wire connector. The MAF and IAT sensor unit should be the 5 wires in the intake tract near the air filter.

You can keep your MAF still in place to use the IAT portion, or hardwire a different IAT sensor and ditch the MAF completely
