There's a good turbo book that I read a while ago that explains the turbine's exducer sizing and ratio to length. Very informative and interesting information. I can't recall the name of this particular turbo book but I lent it to a friend on here, so I'll see if I can't find it. If you like that kinda reading you'll like this book.

I think the book your talking about "Maximum Boost - Designing, Testing and installing Turbocharger Systems" by Corky Bell. Great book. It covers everything and explained a lot. I picked up a copy of eBay a while back and have read it 3 or 4 times.

Lol, YES, that is the one! I've read it a few times cover to cover as well. Very interesting read. I've read a few Turbo books and even though that one is 15 years old it's still one of the best ones IMO. Alot of people on here would benefit from that book. Book covers everything from optimal materials for header designs to ideal openeing sizes regarding Intercooler/heat exchanger induction. Stuff most people would not bother talking about.
Good book.

I've meant to a couple times but always too busy with work or the Family (4 kids). I wanted to get my forged shortblock installed before the gtg drags at Sacramento Raceway but it's still sitting in my garage. Work is starting to wind down a little so hopefully it will be running before Xmas.

I bought a used copy off eBay but you can get it on amazon.com.

He also has a book called Supercharged! for the Supercharger crowd. I haven't read it but if it's like the Turbo book, it covers everything from theory to application.
