I run an ALKYCONTROL meth kit, and straight VPRacing M1. It’s like $30 for 5 gallon pail. It’s function is multipurpose.
Cool the intake charge
Remove heat from the combustion chamber
Provide a higher octane in the cylinder (meth should not be used as a compensation for fuel) it is used in conjunction with fuel.
Help resistant knock and detonation
I have a little more then a gallon capacity, actually the washer fluid reservoir is my meth tank. So depending on how much boost I hit will determine how much meth to spray. Also you don’t drive in boost 24/7 so depending on your driving habits will determine how often you need to refill the reservoir

Can someone address the area ratio question?
Also Tig's question about hot side tubing is a good one. I know a little bit about the effects of pipe diameter on flow rate (velocity) vs pressure, at least in pump and piping systems (I'm a power plant operator). Though how that fluid dynamics theory applies to hot exhaust gas movement and turbo function, I'm not sure.

I have a gauge for that

The best ratio is 100% meth. The only time a mixture is recommended is when tank volume is a concern since your overall usage will be less when used with water. Also you cannot ship more than 50% meth without it being hazmat, which is why you dont see mixtures higher than that offered. Best bet is to get a 5 gallon bucket from your local speed shop and refill it with 100% when needed.

New question
I hope this thread continues to serve its purpose. I'm going to toss another question out there:
What about vacuum for the brake booster? Is this a non-issue because the motor still makes vacuum when not in boost, and the booster's check valve prevents loss of vacuum? I've seen some talk about switching to hydro-boost, but am not interested in doing that at all...
