I'd love too, but, no. My truck is in no shape at the moment, and the engine build keeps hitting snags.....

Sorry for the off topic but you have a thread of what your building or is it ?
I doubt I'll get close but I hope to get close to your numbers and give you some competition as the fastest STS set-up! well at least for a while!

With all the go fast parts you have I don't think you will have a problem beating me.
My build is very top secret...

Hell I don't even know what the details are, and I'm the one thats building it....

I will most likely start a thread of the build once I choose my path, one thing for sure, it will be simple.

Dave. I really think you would be happy with a GT-67. It is one of the best performing turbos for our engines imo. It has little lag and can be pushed very far. I ran about 14 psi with the 6.0 at the track. The turbo had more left in it, but I don't know how much.....

I am going to put a master power t70 on it. I planned to use it on my camaro, I guess well see if it works on the truck. I have two a/r housings for it a .68 and a .96. I am going to try them both and if neither works I'll have to find a good deal on a gt67. The truck has already hit all my goals I set for it, 12 second quarter 500+ hp and 22+mpg. I really planned on not working on it anymore and to get to work on my poor neglected camaro. I guess the camaro will have to wait another week.

I'm running a mp t70 with .68 on my truck now. On the front mount, spools it GREAT! I tried it when I still had the STS on it and it worked well, but was a tad slower on spool then the T60 with the same .68 on it, but made good power. I'd go with the smaller housing but I have a smaller motor.

I will probably end up with the small housing on it. I'm going to try the big one though. My truck falls on its face at 5500 rpm. I think the .68 is to restrictive. At the end of the quarter it won't go over 108 its like some one through out an anchor. We had a mustang doing the same thing and it picked up 8mph with the larger housing. I just wish mp turbos would come with a .81 housing. Did your IATs go down with the t70?

With my intercooler and meth, I've never had IAT much over 10-15 above ambient no mater what I did. You can put a .81 housing on it. They use the same housing as the T-60, it's just that the v-band on it is about a 1/4" longer then the MP housings, so if you have the old style wastegate that is plumed back into the tail pipe it won't line up but if you flip it over and put a block off plate on the tail pipe side it would work fine.
