Default thoughts on dyno numbers

good to look at but can cant always determine speed or e.t .examples if a car or truck make 1200 at 5800 to 6100 then falls to 975 6200 to 6800. another vehicle makes 1075 from 5800 to 6800 in the same kind of vehicle it possible the 1075 will run quicker.also more power in wrong set up suspension can lead to slower e.t. with high mph (mph doesnt win races) just my 2 cents. but thank to all on turbo opinion .I LOVE THIS SITE

Jarrett hasn't made a clean pass on a good track with the new motor and turbo yet at full boost. When he does, It will probably be in the 7's...

He also has the the big heavy 76mm wheel and the 96 exhaust wheel that comes from t6 turbo. The lighter 76/92 he had before would be down 100hp pretty ease. We ran a base s475, cast 75 with 75 exhaust wheel 1.0ar on a ls2 truck, it ran 136mph on 18psi at 4750lbs. We turned it up to 22psi and it gained nothing so thats pretty much were it maxed out at. Probably close to 900rw.

dyno'd 700 rwhp trapped 130 and weighed 4700lbs.....that was on a 5.3 at 12.5 psi

point is not all dynos are reading correct, if the combo truly made 1200 rwhp then its going to trap well into the 170s at his weight

now back to the original topic, swapping to a Bw wouldnt gain ya nothing

Tim to gain by swapping turbo it will need to be at a higher boost level.
The Borg will have a larger exhaust wheel allowing you to lower BP.
BUT it will not light off like the 76/75.
Also you will need a larger down pipe.
Might as well go to the 46mm gate (future use)
A couple of different cold parts
Larger air filter assembly.

Dynos are nothing more then a tuning tool.
Did the correction help or hurt the curve.
Make a change repeat.
