Default turbo cams

What does everyone recommend for a turbo cam in a 6.0 LQ4?I know what a lot of the blower cams are but not the turbos.

the cam in your sig wouldn't be too bad, probably not worth swaping out.

typicaly you want to stick with more lsa especialy if you are going to be running full exhaust. less exhaust can get away with less lsa. with the 115lsa you have it would be good to have free flowing exhaust(cut out).

if your stuck on full quiet exhaust then there might be a few hp to be had with more lsa than what you have now.

thanks for the advice Parish

I thought that most people run reverse splits on the turbo cams.

mangled I'm sticking with my Procharger!

My buddy [sureshot] just got a new truck. We lifted it last weekend and now the fun begins. The LQ4 he bought last night on here is now in his garage. He wants to run a turbo set-up, so I'm just looking for some cam info.

i thought it was for you and was just saying it may not be worth upgrading. if it's not for you then yeah, you can do a little better depending on what all you are doing with the vehicle.

stock zo6 cam is a killer bang for the buck.

here is a thread from when we swaped out the stock 5.3 cam to a 2001 z06 cam >> https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...o-numbers.html

i recomend that 01 or 02 zo6 cam often. really cant go wrong for the price. i dont mean to say you cant do better with a more agressive cam but i dont have any experience to really say.

i did have a 232/234 600 lift 114+1 cam in my truck and often thought it was too large of a cam. i am not into the lope or low rpm tuning issues.
