2nd that. People run the 2002+ LS6 cam in turbo applications because it works well and is cheap. I don't know what kind of mileage your motor has on it but that kit is an overkill. Pick up some new Comp 918's ($180) or some Patriot Golds ($255 shipped) and set of 7.400" pushrods (used $60+/-, new $100 +/-) and then find a nice used cam for around $200-250. They pop up all the time on PTnet, LS1Tech or Corvetteforum.com. I you have a custom cam ground, you would still be way ahead.

If your set on a 2002+ LS6 cam, people use the 7.400's all the time (I'm pretty sure that 7.425, not 7.450 is the ideal length). I checked the Corvette forum a minute ago and they had three LS6 cams posted and sold in the last week. Do a search for "LS6+cam".

I'll send you a PM for a used killer 5.3l Turbo custon grind cam that I'm pretty sure is still available.

Yup thats what I did. Bought a compression tester tool from Oreilly's and modified it a bit to pressurize the cylinder.

Find one like this and you don't have to mod anything. Just unplug the gauge and plug it in a compressor hose. I think I got it a Kragen about a million years ago...
