you might have troubles with those worm clamps on the charge pipes. at some point they will start blowing off and i bet it is not much over 10psi. how hard do you plan on pushing things?

I have t-bolt clamps just not on yet.
I guess we will find out how hard I plan on pushing it
Jose @ forcedinductions said they had had problems with my ebay intercooler balooning out. I asked him at what boost and he said "over 20". I doubt I will have a problem with it then.
MAF being low mounted? It is a totally sealed unit. I would't be affraid to put it behind the tire in the wheel well if I had to.

If you have the smaller radiator it is possible. I have the widest optioned (34" maybe?) and there was no room.

Ordered Speed inc fuel rails & regulator today. Taking care of this returnless system BS before it becomes a problem. Also ordered a QTP E cut-out, and a "real" shifter ball to take care of my bad *** duct tape ball

got an adapter for the quick connect on the factory line. everything else will be AN fittings. I'm going to try to use the evap line for the return line. Might have to run a new one though.

I don't have a dig vid camera.

#3 I plan on getting the pipes ceramic coated and I will clean up the welds before hand. The welds won't be nearly as noticable with the coating done.
First, something CONSTRUCTIVE:
You mentioned tig welding over the top of your mig welds. I have had no luch with this operation, even something as small as a mig tack is very noticablly hard to weld over when tiging pieces together. It will bubble and pit but not burn off all the crap from mig and leave a ball where the tach is.

if you weld it right from the getgo, you dont need to do any "after grinding" to pretty it up...I realize that many ppl cant afford a decent welder(or cant tig weld)...but how can you afford a turbo then?
and once again, for the ppl that think I'm taking out of my ***, I was a huge part of this project:

http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...Formula%20Sae/

we just competed and got 57th out of 140 colleges from around the world(austraila, japan, findland, canada ect)....
I am a broke college student with dreams and opinions...If turbos and trannys were free I would spend all day tig welding up turbo headers.....

That is a neat little project you have there, but I never said anything about TIGing over my MIG. I'll clean up the welds a little with a flap disc before coating. I mentioned that I fitted the intake piping well at most joints that have a coupler so I can go back and TIG it later when I buy one.

I have a turbo and can afford it because I didn't spend the money on a good TIG machine. Not really why, but just to kinda throw another angle to your reasoning. For most of what I do a MIG does plenty good of a job and is faster and cheaper. My truck, nor any of my projects, are ever going to be entered into a world wide competition that grades on engineering skill, expertise, cleanliness and application of design. I think that is one thing you need to understand about the real world and most people on this site. I know it isn't what you have been taught to do but to survive in the real world outside of "achedemia" you have to be able to look outside the box you are currently living in. Perfection isn't always needed nor wanted due to cost or time when something much more simple and cheap will function just as well or well enough to satisfy one's self. Just because it is the best way on paper, or some CAD drawing, doesn't mean it will funtion the best way nor is the prefered way for various reasons. I'm sure you ran into some similar issues like that while working on the little formula 1 project.
Not trying to start some kind of controversy here, nor is this the thread for it, but trying to point out some reasons you may have had some head-buts with people around here.
