I would imagine some guys on here should be able to spit some out. I went to a 2 piece setup (w/carrier) and only have one loop right now. start a pic request thread for driveshaft loops. Might get something.

I will definately be going back with something bulletproof. I hate it but I guess the old plastic is going to have to finance this. I can't stand to wait and have it down any longer.

Dude. You got to stop breaking stuff. You just got it dynoed.

It sure sounds like your new combo is going to kill the times from the 4.8L. The driveshaft issue is why you have to be carefull on gear choice even though you're running a 6 speed. It's nice to have the deep gear and have it deep enough also to be able to run 6th gear at non-highway speeds. The downside is the driveshaft speed from the deep gear. If you end up going to a different gear I'd recomend going to a 4.10 gear and cutting your tire size down to a 275/45. It might be worth a call to Denny's driveshafts for some outstandingly stout driveshaft. (I don't think there is a sponsor on here for driveshafts so I hope I'm not stepping on toes by mentioning the name). I'd guess that your 6.0L should run 11's once you get it dialed in if you can get it out of the gate right and possibly 10's. A black regular cab short box 2wd with a 6.0L, 6 speed, and T76. That is about the perfect street truck.

Got a 4" aluminum Inland shaft from dewmanshu that i'm having shortened. Have a Textralia exo-skel dual disk clutch on the way. And tranny melt-down is going to run in the ball park of $1900 just for the tranny. All this = broke SOB!

Where did you locate your loop?

right on the carrier. It is about 2" wide. It doesn't serve much protection at this moment, but I made it so that I could build off it, if that makes sense.
