Thanks, I have gotten parts from them before and got a quote from them for my cluster and input. I do all my own work though.

I wish I could build my t56, I wouldn't be able to tell the cluster from the fluxcapacitor. Just tell me where to put the bananna peels.

No lubrication = melted gears and a hell of a lot of money.

Notice how blue 3rd gear is and the end of the mainshaft just from being so close to the heat.

WOW!!! No tranny fluid at all eh? So how did you loose all your fluid? Did it fly out when the d-shaft let loose? I've seen stripped gears plenty of times, but never melted like that. It's like they were heated under serious pressure. That or they were chewed and hot enough to cause the teeth to weld back onto the gear.

That's awesome! Well, I'm sorry for you, but at least you have some serious carnage.

I had one of those piles and it got so big it got in the way so I scrapped it. I guess I can start a new one.

Sorry to hear about the driveshaft. We had the same issue here at the shop with a 00' Silverado. Its lowerd 5-8 though. Its a MS3 cammed LQ9 with a 90/90 setup, longtubes and a single 3.5" exhaust. Running speed density open loop.
Being that his is a NA setup we went with 4.56 gears. His broke in half during the second or third tuning pull on the road. It did some serious damage to the trans as well. Scared the living crap out of us too. The shifter pulled right out of trans we he went for neutral as it happend. Poor guy we had just got the truck done too.
