I have a turbo 6.0 , I have a lot of blow by coming out the exhaust, and recently blew my dipstick out. Any advice? im going to install two catch cans to help with this. ANY ADVICE as to whether or not this would help?


I also heard that the turbo might be getting too much oil?

 

If you blew your dipstick out I think your getting too much pressure in your block! How many miles are on the motor, amount of boost, and how do you have your pcv set up? Is your line plumbed into the intake piping of the turbo? If not, doing so would actually help a lot to pull pressure from the block.

 

Hate to say this but you better do a compression check on all cylinders first. Hope its not bad news but it sure could be. Get past that then the rest will be easy. Good luck.

 

You either have a lot of blow buy and a hurt motor or you pcv system is setup incorrect and your boosting your crankcase. Naturally you need to get this sorted out.
