Default turbo?

anyone running a borg warner s475 t4 6.0L? what kinds of power are u making?spool up time?ect.. trying to weigh my options.

yep.. S475/83 T4 here.
Spools good with stock torque converter 80E..

have no idea on power.. 5000# truck went 12.9@115, 5psi first gear, 15psi second gear, and 25+ in third cutting out.
2.1 60' i think it was.

That would be a very good sized turbo for a street/strip 6.0L. If going all out, step up to a t6 and maybe even go S480.

According to someone on this site... That turbo is good for about 750whp on a 6.0. 16psi and its done.

The 75/83 is only good for 16psi??

I would think that turbo would be good to 30psi on a 6L.

I think Ive seen 16psi on a 6.0 with a smaller 76mm MP or Magnum turbo. And those are either 64mm or 67mm turbines.

Friend of mine has an on3 76mm on his 6.0L and that thing is done at 16psi, so ya the BW better be good to at least 25. Like I said, if not I am going to be in trouble one day.

He's not saying it will only make 16 psi on 6.0 guys. He saying it might be maxed out at 16 psi or whatever that power level is. I'm pretty sure Nonnie has hit 25ish accidently with his ha ha .
