I am for it depends on what you are using it for and also which truck. I.E., EXT cab, Crew Cab, Dually, etc.. Weight matters especially in your choice of turbos and the load that is going to be put on the turbos..

it is going in a reg cab 2wd silverado and i am shooting for the most hp i can get out of it.

A front mount and a rear mount at the same boost will make about the same peak HP and run about the same 1/4 miles speed, cuz you will brake stall them in to boost either way. Where the difference will be is on the street, A front mount will spool faster, just cuz there is less pipe to fill and it's getting hotter, more expanded gases from the exhaust. It will just depend on if you want the hot turbo under the hood, or a little cooler turbo and a little more lag on the street with it under the bed.

If that's the case then I would go Front mount! But be prepared to deal with underhood heat which may affect your DD'ing ability on serious HP applications.

Man that front mount kit look sweet, I'm probably couple more years going to switch from Procharger to a Front mount turbo kit.
