Default Tricks to getting the boost up???

I know boost is more A measure of restriction than anything, but we like to use the psi of boost to somewhat guage an idea of power. We all know that changing pullies ups the boost. Let me hear some other tricks that can be done to increase boost.........

check everything for leaks, vacuum lines, injector O rings, gaskets, brake booster, everything.
sealing all of the leaks can raise pressure by keeping it in and not bleeding off.

I'm thinking the more efficient the charger is made the more air it can move??
Ported/polished thottle body
Cold air intake
Polish the inlet and outlet of the supercharger
These seem like ideas that could actually help a blower move more air? in turn making more boost? I know it wouldnt be alot, but seems like that would help some.

There is a guy on LS1Tech with a transam with a G trim that did what you have mentioned and said that it helped and he saw more power. I thought about it, but it seems like it would be more trouble than its worth. I ported the crap out of my TB and I dont think it helped much. Its hard to tell as the heat goes up, my boost goes down . My main concern with porting the outlet would be getting little bits of metal in the impellers. I just opted for a bigger, more efficient blower.
I did see a bit of a gain when I ported my TB and ran a ram air type intake to the stock sealed box though. Im not sure if it would help now that its intercooled though.
