Took the plug out of a a/c pressure fitting, tigged it and tapped it . Stuck a fitting in it an there you have it. No more ugly oil cap crap.

That may benefit some of the STS and supercharged guys on here. I have read of them having problems keeping there oil cap in place.

Nice job, wish I had a welder too.
This may help keep oil from pushing out of the cap under boost. I saw a post on tech where a guy returned the oil from the turbo to the vent that usually goes to the TB to burn off fumes, then he put the LS vent finter cap on the fill hole for a breather.

You have to be careful about that vent because I am not sure if the truck VC is the same as the car VC, The trucks has a small baffle thingy in there to help keep oil from pushing out ito that tube that goes to the TB. Not sure what the car's looks like.

I think tapping the oil pan is a better idea but Im sure it will work well. Might change that brass fitting to a AN fitting it would look a hell of alot better IMO.

TG-You know you will have to pull the motor to remove the pan right?

I tapped my pan. I did not have any oil filler neck problems though. Tapping the pan was the best ting I have done. It is now very clean looking up top.
