I would imagine it would make the TVS intercooler less effective. I run my 40k tranny cooler behind my Treadstone FMIC and my tranny temps are exactly the same as they were before when the FMIC and tranny cooler didn't overlap.

Where else can I mount the trans cooler to get it out of the loop? Maybe remote mount some where and put an electric fan on it. Not sure where there is room for it?

Although, I didn't use the 40K cooler, I mounted cooler with a fan in the lower valance.

I live in AZ, and the tranny temps so far in the 160's-170's. Here's a pic.

We have trucks....there's LOTS of room!
Some people mount them in the wheel well's but if you take your truck off-roading than you might now wanna do that. Inside or outside the frame rails would work too. Trans coolers, unless they are the oversized ones can fit in lots of places.

Did you cut the lines from factory aux cooler or just run hoses from them down to the new cooler?
