Any updates on this?

My buddy has a TBSS we are doing a TVS/80E setup in and he is interested in what you are doing for the brake setup.

Wow did I get sidetracked (don't build multiple projects at once). I ended up trading the polished Maggie for a 2.9 whipple. The whipple is now going on a 416 for my 68 Camaro.

As far as blower going on the TBSS, I sold a 1900 LSA from a CTSV (which I regret) and ended up picking up a black 2300 Maggie. So I'm now going to install that on the TBSS AFTER the 4L80 swap.

While doing this I stumbled on a third build (LSA engine with blower). Which I picked up for unknown future build.

Here are some pics of the new blowers.

Thanks, she's actually running great. She's all motor at the moment. Waiting to do trans swap before I install the blower.

I believe it's the stock size (3.8). I should be picking up a 3.5 or a 3.3(from you) and see how they do.

Where is your buddy getting his 4L80 swap from?

We are doing the swap, he built the trans and got the swap kit from Joe@leftcoast32.

Let me know if you want that pulley.

Long overdue update on this. Completed my 4L80E swap with yank SC300, also completed a Brembo GT install. Unfortunately my L92 spun a rod bearing last week. Well with that being said I guess this was a blessing. I had a spare engine that was built by RPM in Santa Clarita CA.

Here are the details of engine. (Excuse the words on the valley plate)
Aluminum 6.2 block, ARP main and head studs, LS9 head gaskets
Forged LSA crank
Forged 6.125 callies rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts
Wiseco pistons.
CNC LSA heads by Charlie at RPM
22x/23x low .600s 119 cam.
Innovator West 10 rib accessories with 5th gen Camaro conversion
Whipple 2.9 with ID 850s and TPIS 102.

Damn that whipple is huge! No clearance issues under the hood? You must have your sights set on some absurd numbers with that blower and a 10 rib belt set up.

Some slight touching if any. But my body guy was over last night and wants to massage that cowl area like 1/2".

As far as power levels, I'll probably run out of fuel before I hit the limits of the combo. I'll add an external pump and or bap to help with that. Currently have an aeromotive 340.
