TPS Torqstorm kit experience
Any feedback from users on here that have installed the Torqstorm kit that includes intercooler and injectors? The Torqstorm specific portion of the kit is from the manufacturer, so no worries there. The intercooler kit is a 3" universal. Injectors are 72 lb "LS1 LS6 Siemens 72 LB Drop-In Fuel Injector Set".

Application is a 2011 gmt900 crew cab 5.3L.
I'm also hoping the stock flex fuel pump will support this build without a BAP or pump upgrade. Shooting for 500/500 at the wheel.
TIA!

No need for bap your flex fuel system has one built in already in the fpcm. Yes, the flex pump will support 500 tire, no need for that large of an injector if 500 is your goal.

Thanks. 72 lb comes with the kit. I could get smaller injectors and a different intercooler if they are better options. Goals are dependability and 500 tire with pretty decent towing power at 2700rpm cruising. I'm sitting at 300 tire today.
I still have some questions to answer for myself, like keep the maf or go speed density.
Right now I'm seeing that I can get to my goal on 10lbs of boost for $4,800 including an in person tune and gauges. I haven't selected gauges yet.

Cool thanks, looks like I can get the 6.2 injectors shipped for $433 from gmparts direct, GM (12609749). Also looks like SD tune is the way to go.
The blower kit with 3.1" pulley + intercooler kit is only $3545 shipped. With their 72lb injectors it would be a few bucks cheaper vs buying separate (less then $100) but stock GM sounds like a safer bet.
Now to figure out gauges...

These guys sell the 6.0 injectors for a good cost too.

I trust the GM injectors over the Siemens injectors for sure. Past that would be spending $550-800 on other name brand injectors from Deatchwerks, fuel injector clinic etc etc, those would be the only other people I trust.

Opinions on the intercooler with this kit? I've read that I should be looking at treadstone or something of higher quality. I'm thinking I would need a TR1235 or maybe a 1045 and then get their universal piping kit to hook it up.
Otherwise just roll with the generic intercooler in the TPS kit;
