Default Throttle Body...?

Do they make a HP throttle body for a 05 Avalanche 5.3

You can have the stock TB ported/polished. Don't think you will see much gain though from just that. You can also go to a 87mm or 90mm TB with an intake swap.

Thank you,,, Twins huh,,, looks great,,, I spoke with BBK they said they have one 80mm how doyou think that would work,, Right now I only have a CAI, exhust, and a Nelson tune,, the tune really made a big improvement, I was just looking for a little More ,, ,, once again thanks for your time to answer

The tune was probably the best investment for seat of the pants gains. I don't think you will notice the extra 2mm in throttle bore diameter going to 80mm. Going to a larger throttle body can give the impression of increased power because the throttle area ramps up quicker = faster throttle response, but that can also be done in the tune to an extent(electronic throttle vehicles). It won't have much effect on peak power levels though unless you have a motor that can make use of that extra airflow potential. The inlet on the intake manifold must also be at least as large as the bore of the larger throttle body to see any significant gains.

Don't waste your money on an 80mm TB when you could get a 90mm. IMO you would get more bang for you buck with a trailblazer stall converter than the TB.
